Yes, I was that girl taking pictures left and right. The girl who carried her red Canon to the parties and used the annoying flash. I just loved freezing time and memories to get to look back to. I remember gathering baby pictures of all my friends in high school making a Facebook album and having them all share and guess who each person was. One of my first gifts to my husband was an album of us both that contained screenshots of when we used to date long distance, baby pictures and our paths together. A pictures holds a moment, when you look at it you are able to relive a moment that was otherwise forgotten or stored in your deep memory.

Having friends that were photographers around me was very common theme throughout my life as I grew up. Then as an adult, Coty and I crossed paths starting spending time together with our girls and then growing into a great friendship that I treasure, she saw that I had a passion and an eye to capture moments and gave me the tools to take my passion forward.

Soooo, now that you know a bit about how I got into photography let me share, Who Am I?

My name is Kimberlie Caballero a mama of two beautiful artistic, determined, girls ages 5 and 2. I manage our household and other projects so I get to spend as much time as possible with them. My professional background is in Psychology which while I was doing my doctorates decided to pivot towards staying home with my then 4-month-old.

I love working with the tools I gained through psychology to connect with all the families, couples, adults and children I get to photograph.

In my free time I enjoy doing it ALL! I have a heavy case of FOMO. I love traveling, paddleboarding, hiking, camping, gardening, creative play, video gaming, building legos, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends. But if I don’t get to do any of those during our busy week, getting to breathe some fresh salty air near the ocean is my best medicine.

I CAN’T WAIT TO CAPTURE YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF THROUGH MY LENS!
