Florence, Italy

After our day in Venice, we ventured to Florence for two nights. Unfortunately, I don't have much to show from these days. We spent them visiting my host mother, eating gelato, and wandering the city. Since I lived there for four months in college, Florence isn't new to me.

However, we did venture to one of my favorite places in the world. This is Piazalle Michelangelo overlooking the city. I've been here countless times, but never at sunrise. Before we left for our long drive back to Switzerland on our last morning there, we woke early enough to see the sunrise over the city. To me, this view is enough to make up for not having many other photos to share from Florence.
