Bern, Switzerland

Continuing our Switzerland series, we ventured to the town of Bern. The capital city of the country has more of a small town, classic feel than the bigger cities like Geneva and Zurich. The lines of buildings draped in flags, beautiful and ornate cathedral, and peaceful riverview.

The difference between many of the places we visited in Switzerland versus our last few trips is that the cities have less to do than what we’re used to. With London and Rome, the vacations were always museum after museum with sites sprinkled in. It is definitely a different beast traveling with an infant, but Switzerland was a great starting point thanks to the slower pace.
