Baby Sawyer Maternity @ Des Moines Marina

This mama and I met the “old-fashioned” way with a good little “Meet Cute” at a local cupcake store. E’s birthday was that day and we got to talking and she and I BOTH had a birthday the very next day! What are the odds?!

I absolutely love watching my clients’ families grow. I was able to capture this baby boy in mama’s belly, as a newborn, and again at 3 months. Seeing your family grow makes it feel like you’re part of my family! (And all these tiny babies help fulfill that endless cup of Baby Fever I’ll forever have since I’m done with the baby phase myself!)

These photos were taken back in MARCH. Yes, you read that correctly. MARCH. This water was frigid, but Mama was amazing and set on some in water photos. I LOVE any sort of adventure (even with cold toes). I always vote yes for getting in the water or splashing in the puddles or playing in the mud… you name it and I’m there!
